Distraction burglaries - Kates Hill Dudley

Distraction Burglaries – Bunns Lane and High View Street, Kates Hill, Dudley
 
On 27/11/19 at approximately 1pm on Bunns Lane a white male with an Irish accent has knocked the victim’s door stating that he was a police officer and then showed an ID Card. The male then stated he was there to talk about burglaries. The resident has then seen this male take £10 from his sideboard. Resident has challenged the male, he has then dropped the money and left and ran down Bunns lane towards Tesco. From CCTV enquiries there may be a second male involved.
 
Male 1:-  white male, beard, spiky hair and ginger beard, blue shirt, black jacket and wearing a lanyard around his neck and carrying a blue book, folder in his hand.
 
Male 2:- white male, short on top, black jacket with grey in the inside wearing a lanyard also carrying a blue book, folder in his hand.
 
On 27/11/19 between 12.20pm-1pm on High View Street a white male has approached location, knocked on the door and then let himself into the property where he was confronted by the resident. He has been told to leave and has then said he would take the black bin bags. Once again he was asked to leave and he then made off.
 
Male Offender described white male, dark brown hair, small bit of stubble, wearing a dark sandy brown coloured jacket, blue jeans and dark sandy brown shoes, described as 'like old person shoes or top shoes'.  Offender had a tattoo on the rear side of the thumb on his right hand.   Described as having an Irish accent.

Chain – If you decide to open the front door, put the chain on first.
