Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear Resident,

The snow has been pouring down during the past couple of days and the temperature is getting colder.

Please ensure that your drive is worthwhile and don't put yourself at risk on icy roads.

The West Midlands have seen a growing problem with car thefts due to owners leaving their vehicle unattended and insecure whilst waiting for it to defrost.

It is weather like this that encourages opportunist thieves to target cars left unattended.

Please ensure that cars are attended at all times and locked securely.
If you are lucky to be off this weekend, enjoy the snow or your warm day in

Kind Regards,
